John Paul II – Celebrating His Life
On 1 May 2011, before one million people at St Peter’s Basilica in Rome, the late Pope John Paul II was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI. He was proclaimed ‘Saint John Paul II’ on April 27 2014 in acknowledgement of the holiness of his life. The brochure, which can be downloaded from the link above, gives a brief story of his life and highlights his many gifts and talents. Copies of this brochure have been sent to all schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
